Born and raised in Bermuda, Dana Cooper's collection began with her first piece, a beach pareo in 2006.
What has unfolded since then has been a bouquet of luscious prints for resort wear creating a distinct and chic Spring Summer style.
She is an official licensee for the 35th America's Cup.
Previously, Dana designed for publications in the U.S, China and Bermuda, such as W Magazine, The New York Sun, and The Royal Gazette Magazine. That knowledge was a natural lead in to designing prints for fashion.
Her illustration work has included designs for ceramics and childrens books such as My Bermuda ABC, My Bermuda 123 and Bermuda Baby ABC and have been published by Chronicle Books, Workman Publishing and The Washington Post in the U.S. She is a contributing illustrator and designer for The Bermudian Magazine. Her fine art has been shown internationally.
She has received awards from The Society of Publication Design and The New York Academy of Art in New York.
Her resort wear is inspired not only by her homeland, Bermuda but also countries she has visited around the world. Her designs have sold in stores such as Calypso St.Barts, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Ritz Carlton Hotels and The Four Seasons Hotels and in Bermuda at Coral Beach Club, Luxury Gifts at Rosewood Tuckers Point, RESORT at Hamilton Princess and A.S.Coopers & Sons.
